Don’t forget to tune in tonight on ABC for Celebrity Wheel!
Thursday Californian teachers
–Nate Cardin (🏳️🌈), a HS chemistry teacher at Harvarrd-Westlake School married to Ben who owns the French bulldog Arrow & loves crosswords from Altadena
–Kara Miller, a 4th grade teacher at Citrus Glen ES who’s going into her thirtieth year and did home hospital teaching for a while married to Paul w/ two kids & they own 2 golden retrievers (they also recently opened a brewery) from Ventura
–Paula Drutz, a 4th grade teacher at Corpus Christi married to Jack for 33 yrs. w/ two daughters (one is married the other is engaged) and a 7 mo. granddaughter from Santa Monica
Final Scores: Kara: $4K/Paula: $1K DETENTION/Nate: $23,207 cash & Aruba
I would say half ROTTEN LUCK and half DESERVING.
GT: a modest $28,207
Tonight’s Bankrupt Trash (minus MW $): $8,900
-In R1 on the HOME _________ crossword puzzle, Kara starts w/ an odd and unsurprising insta-dud of T, and then later, after all but the left column is filled, she FLUNKS OUT w/ L (HOME LAKE isn’t gonna work when there’s only one K up here), and one $650 P later, Paula TOTALLY BLOWS IT w/ Y (PAYE?! -__-).
-In R2, Paula PAINFULLY BANKRUPTs near $650 to lose $7,350. And the BANKRUPTs didn’t stop coming.
-In R3, Kara just makes me facepalm w/ that BAFFLING DUD of V on EXPRESS — HUH?! -__-
-We had a cut NULL CYCLE during S-U.
I’m good w/ these categories: OtM/THINGS/ItK
$100K Bonus Round: Nate wakes up to $40K located near this WAFFLE IRON salvaging this very painful episode and clinching our third straight winning week, so now Alane will be sweating it out.
Nate’s Final Total: $63,207
New GT: $68,207
My Rating: 5 (D-) (so much lost to BANKRUPTs)
ant0824’s Rating: 7
Ismael’s Rating: 6 (D+)
Adam’s Rating: 6
Nothing but tough luck for Paula. Off to detention.

Science proved to be the Victor for Big Winner Nate with another mid-range BR win.
Bobby gave this one a better rating, unfettered by this season’s first Cardinal Sinner of any game show – 8 of 10 (Winning Show), although the way the main game went he might have gone as low as a 50/50 Split.
We are not done yet, folks. As Skipps said, an extra Prime Time WHEEL is on next, followed by today’s final tally.
Thanks to a mix of bad luck and some critical misplaying, Paula’s the first $1K GOOSEEGG victim all season long. I think that’s a record for most episodes in a season before the first such victim.
Hooray for our first ON THE MAP offering in the BR since the S37 premiere (even though it wasn’t chosen)!
Twice in a row that one letter did it in the BR. If you’re reading this, Alane, I’d start to sweat if I were you.
My Rating: 6 (D+) (low-scoring game)
