This was a great start to this theme week after being absent last season!
It’s quite interesting to see a past theme week from Season 32 and 33 being used as a Prize Puzzle.
It’s kind of a bummer that SANTA CLARA isn’t featured as one of the Triple Toss-Up puzzles, because that was one of the most memorable cities that I’ve been to back when my family lived in California. And that’s where California’s Great America is located, the theme park that I used to go to back in the day.
Despite solving the Speed-Up with no money, Ashlee finished strong after the maingame, and the other lady finished with a decent 2nd place total. But Lenny didn’t have much luck after picking up both of those two sparkly cardboard pieces, didn’t he?
I wasn’t sure if Ashlee would get that bonus puzzle with her letter picks, but she did for the second $45K payoff of the season!
My Rating: 8 (B)
I think my comment giving feedback about this episode ended up in the spam folder again.
I really don’t know what’s going on. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
