On Thursday, Jeopardy will re-air our seventh regular-playing daily double skunking of the season. Then, on Friday, they will re-air our only returning champion skunking of the season. Finally, on September 10, Wheel will re-air the $100,000 loss from the February 17, 2021 episode.

Even more bad news here… My candidate for GE/Zonk Player of the week is Mandi Orloski from this week’s PYRAMID. Very rarely does a player not win the Mystery 7 round but goes on to the $100K WC BR. With a chance of redemption on this week’s show, Mandi blew it on the very first clue (BASEBALL). Logical clues there would have been “Three Strikes”, “Home Run”, “Steal”. Obviously not “Third Base”…”Ball Four” also would have been unacceptable.
