WoF Quickcap: 4/30/2024

WoF Quickcap: 4/29/2024

Last Friday’s show was a TOTAL AND ABSOLUTE DISASTER for all the wrong reasons. In addition to Kate’s EPIC BANKRUPT costing her $29,750, she somehow completed a comeback win but went on to become the eighth $100K loser in the BR this season. I don’t know how Pat’s final weeks will play out the rest of the way, but let’s see what happens.

For this week, I didn’t think there would be any Margaritaville weeks following the death of Jimmy Buffett, but we are really doing one called 🏨🩴Margaritaville Resorts Week🩴🏨. Don’t forget to enter each of the bonus puzzles this week for your chance to win a trip to a Margaritaville resort (in this case, it’s Panama City Beach in Florida).

Krystalanne Curwood: lady who wants to try everything at once (the reason why she says this is she believes a hundred of the shots that one never takes, they never can accomplish and so one has to see if they like it and just live life to the fullest) from Denver, CO

Andrew Voss: golfer who’s wearing shorts on taping day (Pat requested him to lift his leg up) from Indianapolis, IN

Mitchi Shibata: lady who plays a lot of sports including hockey for 27 years but is transitioning to golf since it’s less violent than hockey from Sylmar, CA

FINAL SCORES
Andrew
: $6K | Mitchi: $1,800 | Krystalanne: $21,133 cash & St. Thomas

GRAND TOTAL: an underwhelming $28,933
BANKRUPT TRASH (Andrew in PP/Express Round, excluding MW gamble): $850

Scary moments

-In the second Toss-Up…

_ _ W _ I N G
_ _ O _ _

Ugh, KrystalanneSEWING SHIRT ain’t gonna fit. -__-

-In Round 1…

E N _ _ A N T I N _
E _ _ E R I E N _ E S

Andrew blows $3,450 solve with ENTERTAINING for the first word.

Mitchi makes a fatal purchase of E in the next round to let go of $7,500.

-The third Triple Toss-Up was almost a TRIPLE STUMPER.

-In the first of the Triple Toss-Up about doing something to a checklist…

C R _ A _ _ N _ / A
_ _ E C K L I _ _

Krystalanne blows another one with CREATING A NECKLINE (or NECKLACE).

-Speed-Up took too long and too many duds.

BR categories: EVENT/THING/PLACE

$100K Bonus Round: After saying WALKWAYBEACH, and GETAWAY for the second word, Krystalanne gets the answer with one second left and will be escaping to the PRIVATE HIDEAWAY of St. Thomas with $40K.

Krystalanne’s Final Total: $61,133 cash & trip

NEW GRAND TOTAL: $68,933
