WoF Quickcap: 1/3/2023

Left-to-right panel organizing a FAMILY GATHERING discussing what they win on this show
Andrew Hoing, a digital marketer for a restaurant software company married to Claire (she’s apparently a good softball player and they play in a team together; they’re about to celebrate their 10th anniversary of marriage next yr. and they would like to celebrate it by going to an overwater bungalow when they have enough money) from Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Tammy Sommerville, a married lady to Jason w/ four kids and her family travels a lot and like to take their hammocks w/ them (if it’s a bike race they make them a tower and when rock climbing they put them on the cliffs) from Chino Valley, AZ (she auditioned for the show during one of those trips from Wisconsin to Yellowstone and studied for it in the library)
Jodie Duquesnay, a USC student pursuing a Master’s degree in computer science who had the opportunity to play piano in Manhattan at Carnegie Hall for a benefit when she was seven from L.A.

Final Scores: Andrew: $31,050 cash & St. Croix/Tammy: $6,500/Jodie: $13,850

GT: $51,400
Tammy’s EXPRESS Bankrupt Trash: $6,650 cash & GC

Scary moment

-I was afraid w/ that limited help on the last word that Tammy would crash on EXPRESS and lose $6,650 cash & GC…

A N D / _ _ A R _

and she does w/ L — doggone it.

BR categories: F&D/THING/PHRASE

$100K Bonus Round: Andrew is carrying ingredients of a HAWAIIAN CUISINE in the cargo area of the maZDa CX-9 Grand Touring worth $46,945.

Andrew’s Final Total: $77,995 cash & prizes

New GT: $98,345

My Rating: 8 (B+)

Stamp of Approval v2

  1. Excellent game today to end Taco Tuesday. Much in the Trust, but we end today with BR Car Win #2.

    Bobby’s Rating – a notch up at 9 of 10 (Winning Show)

FINAL COUNT – 3 cars (two were in Bonus Games, incl. the BD), a boat in the Low SC, 1 DD, 3xG in our F!s (with the new J! champ), and the usual trip.
BLOOD COUNT – 2 cars (more won than lost today), 2 DDs, the outgoing J! champ, and the High SC.

TPIR was the only major show that was not winning.

On to CHOPPED…and again, great run, Ray! See you in November at J!’s ToC!
