WoF Quickcap: 12/20/2022

WOF_40

IT’S ALL GOOD! Now let’s play!
Ricky Gilbert, a digital marketing worker and Michigan Wolverines & NY Jets football fan married to Jordana from NYC
Merin Mathew, a classical Indian dancer from ATL
Jayne Dempsey, a dog collar designer who’s jumped out of a plane 5 times married to Mike (she and her daughter are planning to jump out of another plane) from Burlington, NC

Final Scores: Ricky: $49,120 cash & Antigua/Ladies: $1K LUMP OF COAL EACH

Miscellaneous: This is the first maingame sweep by the red panel since 11/26/2008.

GT: $51,120
Tonight’s Bankrupt Trash: $4K + WC + MDW

Scary moments

-In R2, we had TWO INTACT NULL CYCLES (one had FIVE STRAIGHT PENALTIES; and **one** good B was in between them) — oh boy. And R3 wasn’t that much better (Merin should be glad she declined to go on EXPRESS, or it would’ve been a WIPEOUT).

-The good news is, we had extra time in R4 for the first time in over two weeks. The bad news is, Ricky PAINFULLY BANKRUPTs his shot at $1M away, which also started yet another aired NULL CYCLE and wasted away potential for a fifth round.

SWEEP LIKELY STOPPED BY EVIL TRIO: WAYD?/THING/PHRASE

$100K Bonus Round: No need to be PLAYING THE TUBA, people, because Ricky HAS JUST PULLED OFF THE FIRST TOTAL CLEAN SWEEP SINCE SEASON 35 ON 12/13/2017 AND FIRST IN THE TRIPLE TOSS-UP ERA for $40K (despite losing the WC to a bankrupt and winning a better prize after losing the MDW) (Automatically Contestant of the Week)!!!

Ricky’s Final Total: $89,120 cash & Antigua

New GT: $91,120

I hate to bring up the bad news about this, though, but this win was SPOILED in tonight’s promo. -____-

My Rating: 6 (D+)

Skipps’ Rating: 7 (C-) (rough maingame)

Hats off to you, Ricky! Sorry, Jeremie.

Where there’s a clean sweep, there has to be a double booting, Merin & Jayne. It’s just how it works.
