Hopefully these comedians can provide us comic relief from last week’s civilian tragedy
–Mary Lynn Rajskub, actress and comedian who starred in “24” and author of a book called “Fame-ish: My Life at the Edge of Stardom”; she’s playing for Harvest Home LA
–Paul Scheer, actor & comedian who stars on “Black Monday” on Showtime and “The League” on FX, and also does voiceovers such as the Disney show “Big City Greens” and the “Star Trek” show “Lower Decks”; he’s playing for SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition (and he’s the hubby of June Diane Raphael who played last week)
–Luenell, comedienne who stars as Miss Loretta on the HBO Max show “Hacks” who’s about to tape a NETFLIX special produced by Dave Chapelle; she’s playing for Make-A-Wish
Game 1
Final G1 Scores: Paul: $30K/Luenell: $12,700/Mary Lynn: $11K
G1 GT: $53,700
G1 Bankrupt Trash: $2,900
Scary moment
-This whole half especially R3.
EVIL TRIO: THING/WAYD?/PHRASE
$100K Bonus Round: While I’m BASKING IN MY OWN GLORY on this site Paul isn’t basking in his for $25K.
Game 2
Final G2 Scores: Paul: $36,250 ($66,250 so far)/Luenell: $15K ($30K min.)/Mary Lynn: $13K ($30K min.)
G2 GT: $64,250
NO BANKRUPT TRASH, MIRACULOUSLY
Scary moment
-This whole episode, period. Critical duds, missolves that don’t even fit the category, foolish repeats of aforementioned penalties, wasted multiples, penalty spins…
EVIL TRIO AGAIN: PHRASE/THING/WAYD?
UGH. Just as I thought it couldn’t get worse. -___-
$100K Bonus Round: There is just no reason to make any OFFBEAT HUMOR of this BOMBFEST of an episode, or, particularly, this result of Paul losing the $25K again.
Charity Winnings: $126,250 (DESERVING SEASON-LOW)
Sigh… this was not funny at all. But on the bright side, there will be sufficient time to heal from this mess as the next episode won’t be until 12/4, followed by a holiday special on 12/6.
ant0824’s Rating: TBA
Skipps’ Rating: (G1 & Overall: 4 (F+)) (Game 2: 3 (F)) (would’ve been lower if something other than $25K popped up in either game)
Adam’s Rating: 3
My Rating: 5 (D-)
Just frustrating and underwhelming.
