Contestant of the Week from September 26-30, 2022

Taylor Hale is your Contestant of the Week for not only being the first African-American HouseGuest to win Big Brother but also the first to win America’s Favorite HouseGuest. She was awarded $800K ($750K for the championship, plus $50K for being the winning HouseGuest) for that.

Honorable mentions:

-Big wins on TPiR this week including Craig Dawkins ($68,986), pairs of twins Maximillian & Nicholas Weinbach and Ava & Lorretta Minett (the latter pair having escaped from the FFBC) winning their pairs of cars in their respective car games as did Jason & Ryan Harpole in the showcase, as well as Audra Sasse surviving Pay the Rent wisely bailing out w/ $10K.

-We went 3-2 (syndicated) on Wheel yet again (including one MINI given away).

-David Sibley went on a 4-day $78,098 run on J! but failed to complete the weekly sweep making it 0-2 for our sweep alerts.

Alane Delinski is unfortunately, and it really pains me to say this, your Zonk Contestant of the Week, because her being stuck w/ that DREADED TRIO of THING/PHRASE/WAYD? (she chose WAYD?) and doing herself no good by wasting her picks on obvious letters resulted in…

…UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE — SHE HAS ALREADY ALMOST IMMEDIATELY BECOME A MILLION DOLLAR LOSER IN THE BELLAMIE BLACKSTONE ERA, AND SHE IS THE 6TH CIVILIAN TO LOSE THE MILLION & SEVENTH OVERALL.

The expensive PP mattering for her to win could NOT have been a worse sign. -____-

Dishonorable mentions:

-Twins Kimberly Ashworth & Kyle Ohlwiler unfortunately cost us a perfect PG show on Friday’s TPiR At Night “Young Sheldon” twins special after getting burned off of Hot Seat with two items to go.

-Three FJ! triple stumpers (one as a consequence of being a multi-part FJ!) this week resulted in our first regular-play FJ! losing week this season but not quite so including the Celeb J! episode from Sunday.

-We faced our third consecutive MR SKUNK THREAT to start S4 of 25 Words, but thankfully a skunking was also avoided this week to make it 0-3 for Pepé Le Pew.

-Besides the $1M loss, this week of Wheel, despite having a winning BR week (for syndicated shows as Deepscan likes me to clarify, we went 1-3 in primetime) was also hampered by BANKRUPTs and many mind-boggling misplays such as Snoop Dogg’s many missolves, Jim Jefferies admitting after his PAINFUL BANKRUPT near TD wiped out $10,300 and MDW that he was a moron for thinking the last word was MONTH, Paula Drutz thinking there is such a thing as a HOME PAYE, Kara Miller calling V early on EXPRESS which unsurprisingly ended up being a dud & more.

-Fuckhead Dylan Bennett up to his old tricks again posing as Alane Delinski w/ his bullshit about Pat helping contestants during the BR (which is CHEATING) and FLOODING OUR EMAILS w/ FAKE JUNK MAIL POSING AS AMAZON, HARBOR FREIGHT, etc. That jerk will never learn. 😡

  1. Skipps made a very interesting point about this week’s WHEEL shows.

If we take only this week’s syndicated shows by themselves, we would indeed wind up with a Winning Week. But since it is our duty to count ALL editions (syndicated and celebrity) here on this site, it all adds up to an overall Losing Week because, out of seven episodes this week, both celebrity editions and two syndicated shows were losing—that adds up to 4 of 7, a majority of this week’s shows. Given the $1M loss on Tuesday, perhaps labeling this WHEEL week a Losing Week is justified.

The same method is applied to J! – we count ALL editions here too (syndicated and celebrity)—Skipps made a point there too. Yes, Jennings did get us a Losing Week with our F! 3xS’, but here is where the equation comes in—if we took only this week’s syndicated shows we would have ended up with a 50/50 Split Week. But when you add the celebrity show from Sunday….there’s your tiebreaker right there—Winning Week,

If we took only the syndicated WHEEL and J! shows and not counted the celebrity editions, then TPIR and WHEEL would end up with winning weeks and J! 50/50 Split.

So, I hope we have clarified Skipps’ point this week.
