One of them could go to SOMEWHERE OFF THE GRID
Ellenor McCoy, an executive admin. assistant in the insurance business married to Renaldo for 20 yrs. w/ a blended family of five kids and three grandkids (and she’s a competitive fisher w/ her hubby) from Anaheim
Chris Wetzel, a firefighter for the Lafayette Fire Department Station #2 married to Erica for almost five years w/ two kids from Frederick, CO
Charlotte Capan, a lady who has had a team building event business for 18 yrs. in the Bay Area and married for three months from San Rafael, CA (orig. from MN; her parents are huge WHEEL watchers and watch from that state)

Final Scores: Charlotte: $12,600/Ellenor: $5,950/Chris: $11,800 cash & P.R.

The reason why Charlotte’s total isn’t highlighted in red even though it’s $10 shy of being the lowest-winning score this season is because it’s an all-cash total (thanks to her sweeping the Triple-Tossups).

GT: $30,350
Tonight’s Bankrupt Trash: $700 + WC + MDW

Scary moments

-We almost had a TRIPLE STUMPER right off the bat in the first toss-up, and I knew right there that we were gonna be in for a very long night.

-In R1, Chris painfully LaTs out to squander away $3,300.

-Too many penalties in R2 which cost Charlotte the $10K MW win.

-In R3, Ellenor questionably calls a singular S on TD instead of the triple C’s…although that doesn’t matter because…

A _ T _ E N T I _
_ A _ I _ _ E A N
_ _ I S I N E

She says a CRITICAL DUD of L for losing $6,700 plus PP trip so we got a $0 prize puzzle win as a result.

-We had an intact NULL CYCLE during S-U, and one of two missolves ended up costing Chris the game.

I don’t like these chances after another miserable game: PEOPLE/PLACE/THING

I figured she’d pick that.

$100K Bonus Round: Charlotte will not be driving to A FAMOUS HOUSE in the Ford Bronco Sport.

Final Jeopardy! Correct Answers: 1 (and a big fat gooseegg for FJ! sweeps)

Winner: Ryan ($26,400 (13-day $252,700))

Ryan is now 13th in regular-play winnings ahead of Jonathan Fisherbut I also hate to inform you that this is the second time this season (joining December) that we’ve gone an entire month without a 3-for-3 FJ! sweep, and we have not had one since 4/8 (but we did have some 2-for-2 and 1-for-1 sweeps from gooseegg victims not qualifying for FJ! during this period, one of which occurred during early this month). Even w/ Ryan’s run and the conclusion of Mattea’s, this was another tough month for this show.

My Rating: 7 (C-) (rough first half, but Ryan’s dominant performance after that made up for it)

Last theme wk.: 🎣Gone Fishin’🎣 (Next week will end the season w/ AG Week for the first time since S30)

Late change, but beginning this week and for next season, emojis will be included around the theme of the week (if any) or individual set during AG weeks similar to Andynwof.

First three trying to catch some FRESHWATER FISH
Jenny Vazquez-Newsum, a leadership program facilitator and writer married about 7 yrs. to Shaun w/ two young kids who went fishing with her mom in San Diego County all the time and has a fear of balloons (i.e. globophobia) from Santa Monica, CA
Kelly Alexander, a video producer married to Stephen for 12 yrs. w/ one son (Liam) and two stepsons who won the title of Lady Angler 2007 in a fishing tournament from Delray Beach, FL (she’s dedicating this game to her mom and Liam the son who love this show)
Erik Radcliffe, a commercial pilot and flight instructor who retired from a large corporation after about 35 yrs., and father of a son who graduated from Cal State Long Beach w/ a mechanical engineering degree from Long Beach, CA

Final Scores: Kelly: $6K/Erik$15,750 cash & St. Croix/Jenny: $10,400

GT: $32,150
Tonight’s Bankrupt Trash: a whopping $15,250 cash & GC + WC

Scary moments (get the Advil ready…)

-There were many BANKRUPTs in what was a HORRIBLE R1, and Kelly REPEATED THE E right after picking up the BELIZE trip. And then we have this…

R O _ I N G
R A _ T I N G
R E L A _ I N G

Erik FLUNKS OUT thinking H would fit up there — no way, sir. -__-

-After that whole mess, R2 unfortunately ends up being MUCH WORSE. More duds (one immediately following a flipped MW containing the green) and BANKRUPTs. Jenny picks a bad time to go w/ S (RUSSER DUSSIE?! -__-) and Kelly makes a HORRIBLE pick of L on the million dollar wedge. After Erik calls a $600 C…

R U _ _ E R / D U C _ I E
Y O U ‘ R E / T H E / O N E

He goes on much to our dismayand painfully BANKRUPTs near $650 to give up $11K and his WC — UGH. -__- ONE OF THE WORST FIRST HALVES OF THE SEASON. PERIOD.

Jenny can’t shake off her obsession w/ the letter M, which ended up being a dud in all three of the main rounds.

Erik forgoes calling the last remaining consonant of L in S-U and just solves.

Not feeling hopeful from this TRAINWRECK of a maingame: PHRASE/THING/F&D

Oh… just as I thought it couldn’t get any worse. -___-

FINAL BR Car of S39: ’22 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend (This was also offered back in Wk. 7 and Day 2 of America’s Game II)

$100K Bonus Round: Who knew that would actually be GOOD TIMING for Erik to make that category pick and score an easy $39K before the timer even starts even after losing that WC earlier?

Erik’s Final Total: $54,750 cash & St. Croix

New GT: $71,150
