To make it clear, I am able to write today’s J! Quickcap. It’s tomorrow that’s uncertain.

And again, STOP w/ the disrespect for Matt Amodio. 😡 Calling his opponents subpar when Daniel from yesterday had the stats of an average champion, and Matt himself took to Twitter and said that his opponents are VERY smart people.

Stamp of Rejection v3

J! Quickcap: 9/29/2021 (& A Warning on Future Comments about Matt Amodio)

Some of you over at Andy Saunder’s thejeopardyfan.com site & other places went over the top w/ your disrespect for Matt Amodio & made unwanted remarks such as “Miss me with this”, “God, he’s annoying!”, “Knock the b***h off”, etc. Totally UNCALLED for. He is one of the nicest Jeopardy! champions you could meet. Just ask any of the people he’s defeated so far, and they will tell you. Me and my fellow admins WILL be forced to remove or trash awaiting comments like that. I mean, yes, the way Matt pronounces his answers (“What’s [response]”) is different & unorthodox, but it has been deemed acceptable to Jeopardy! rules even long before Alex Trebek’s passing, and whatever works for you works for you, and nobody can change that.

With that said, let’s continue w/ today’s results, and hopefully cooler heads will prevail…
