Some Exciting News

After 4 long days of counting ballots from in-person and via mail…

…I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO JOE BIDEN AND KAMALA HARRIS FOR BEING THE NEXT PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT, RESPECTIVELY, OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!!!!!

This has been a historic election in the making. It was one that would determine the fate of the USA at the peak of the COVID Pandemic, it was one that would determine if everyone would have equal rights, it was one whether the democracy of our country will still stay alive. We, the people, have all made an effort to make that happen.

This was one of the most memorable elections in recent history (and one that I proudly voted in  – my first!). We quaked in fear that Trump would win the re-election when he began leading in plenty of key states pivotal for the win (and conquering Florida and Texas, two big electoral prizes). Then, over the course of a few days, Biden began taking over most of the key states (especially Pennsylvania) and we were just dreadfully waiting for the race to be all over when it really looked like Biden will win in the end.

And now, it is all over. The cities are ringing their bells in joy and freedom. Huge rallies and celebrations are being held nationwide in honor of this incredible event. It is not the continuation of a depressing chapter in history, it is the beginning of a new dawn.

Regardless, we are still living in Trump’s America. All of the naughtiness that Donald Trump has created were just unforgiveable sins, especially when he ignored the effects of COVID-19. It’s definitely not going to be an easy job for Biden and Harris, but they are going to do the best they can to gradually reverse the harm done the last 4 years (including rejoining the Paris Agreement) and bring this country to a new golden age.

Congrats on a hard-fought win, Joe and Kamala. You made millions of Americans restore the hopes found in their hearts.

(I know this is totally not related to game shows, but it definitely matters when the whole country was at stake here.)
