Wheel of Fortune Vintage Results 12/5/1985

Niki: $12,800

Tony: $2,150

Terry (female): Deservingly Zonked Out For Lovely Parting Gifts

GT: $14,950

Really Scary Moment:

  • You will NOT believe this — this is what the puzzle looked like:

    T H E / T H R I _ _
    O F / _ I _ T O R Y
    A N D / T H E / A G O N Y
    O F / D E F E A T

Much to our dismay (get the Advil ready), Terry STILL DIDN’T KNOW IT… AND SHE BLEW IT BIG TIME W/ S TO LEAVE $62,400 ON THE TABLE WHICH WOULD TRANSLATE TO (I wish this was a typo) $149,503 IN TODAY’S MONEY!!!! Terry, I know this is hard to swallow, but what were you thinking with that call??? 😑

Bonus Round Win: Yes (maZDa RX-7 worth $15,916)

Niki’s Final Total: $28,716

Grade: D+
Rating: 6

Sorry, but I am going to have to put a bear here just for that epic fail dud.

OBIT: Regis Philbin

Legendary TV host Regis Philbin, who was the original primetime host of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” passed away yesterday of natural causes at the age of 88.

His appearance on “Wheel of Fortune” was quite an infamous one. On 1/4/2010, the R1 puzzle (REGIS PHILBIN & KELLY RIPA) had FIVE botched solve attempts from three military men who apparently don’t watch much daytime TV.

Oh, and he’s set to appear on the 10/26/1992 episode of Celebrity J! that will re-air Monday night.

Rest in peace to a true legend. Thoughts & prayers. 😔🙏🏻
