OBIT: Regis Philbin

Legendary TV host Regis Philbin, who was the original primetime host of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” passed away yesterday of natural causes at the age of 88.

His appearance on “Wheel of Fortune” was quite an infamous one. On 1/4/2010, the R1 puzzle (REGIS PHILBIN & KELLY RIPA) had FIVE botched solve attempts from three military men who apparently don’t watch much daytime TV.

Oh, and he’s set to appear on the 10/26/1992 episode of Celebrity J! that will re-air Monday night.

Rest in peace to a true legend. Thoughts & prayers. 😔🙏🏻
